Default Do I need an upgrade to use USB 2.0?

Could someone please give me some information on USB 2.0.
I understand that data can be transferred quicker, but will I need to get an
upgrade for my pc? or will it work in the USB sockets I have.

If I need an upgrade, I would be grateful if someone could let me know how
this is done and how much it will cost.
Thank you in advance.

John.

Hi John,

You can't use the existing 1.10 USB ports, you would need an add-on card
(PCI). However, most USB 2.0 devices will work in the 1.10 slots, they'll
just be a little slower.
