Thanks for the link to the Windows back up utility. Windows XP came
preinstalled on my laptop. The only disks I have are system recovery disks from Hewlett Packard. Are these the correct disks? |

Those are the correct disks. However I think you do not have the necessary files on those CDs. HP has decided their customers do not need those optional files.
