Netbook locked out.
A friends daughter has locked herself out of her netbook,there is only
her account on the netbook.Is there any way I can rescue/delete the password?I have seen a few program on the net that claim they can do this,do any of them work? Drew |

Drew They do work but usually this means booting from a CD so you'll need an external drive or the skills to make a bootable flash drive. |

Drew You'll need to create a bootable usb stick, details he http://www.pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ Once you've booted it you'll see a load of Linux stuff. Just accept the defaults to delete the password. |

Drew You don't say which version of windows. If it is XP, try booting into safe mode and then use the hidden administrator account. Otherwise you will have to use one of the methods others have suggested. |
