Default Broadband / lan

I have 5 pc's connected via a wireless hub to Broadband,
the 2 pc's running XP can hold both connections so I can
be connected to my system and run the broadband at the
same time, however some times my lan aborts. On the 3
Windows 2000 machines you have to disable the broadband
before you can connect to the system, if you enable the
broadband it aborts the connection to the system, can
anyone help please
