will only be worse in the future if Macs become
more popular. Like AOL, Apple does a good
job of protecting their users from needing to
have technical expertise, but it's not foolproof.

There's a list here.

** "scam software is managing to get into the Mac App Store"

It's a rather eclectic list, rather than being "themed".

The days of "purely destructive" viruses passed years ago,
and anyone in the business, wants to monetize what they make.

And the funny thing is, a general drop in Ransomware was noted in 2017.
Implying either the risk was too high, or the reward was too low.

Coin mining is the latest fad, as it's unlikely to lead to jail time
(unless you target a national supercomputer perhaps). Since at least
one kit allowed "doing it from a browser", it should be dead easy to
deploy cross-platform. Such a slow way to make a buck...

You have no proof i do or ever did that HAWK.
As the original post said (Hawk if maybe once in youre life time you
actually gave me credit when i
post something that is right with out the negative comments and saying i got
the information from someone else)
I don't think you have the ability to give some credit Hawk.

If maybe just once you weren't days late posting information obviously
copied from someone else's post you might deserve credit.

Have you ever in youre life said anything positive about someone OTHER
then
you?

Many times. You've seen it but you ignore it digging for any little
mistake I might make so you can crow about it.

Face it. You're worthless.

You cant use youre head for anything other then cutting down others and
insulting others as well.
You and the guy GOOD GUY in the other news groups would make good friends.
You both spout off about how good you are and what you know but can't talk
nicely to others EXCEPT youre selves.

I have never backed down to coward bully like him who spends his life
belittling others that don't measure up to HIS idea of what the rest of the
human race should be like.
