Default Problems with update ...................

The machine Im trying to update for a while has oem
(legal)version of win xp .The update download stalls .It
represents a great security risk becouse computers get
hacked sometimes in minutes and this is going for days
without service pack to fix the number of "holes" in
windows security.I have feeling that it is hapening
becouse people did not want to sign in for net
passport. So if u dont register product giving up your
personal data to who knows whom and if you dont sign for
a net password you dont get an update, although your
product number is unique and completly legal, product
activated.Whats next?Fingerprints?Denial of service for
not using msn,or Explorer?Do I have after paying all that
money to search for service pack on the Internet like
Orphan? Technical suport ofered by Microsoft is only
introducing few numbers that charge by minute.Charge for
what?To fix their own bugs? This is last piece of software
i have bought from MIcrosoft.

Personal information is NOT required to get updates or Activation.
Passport is NOT required for updates or Activation.

Your information about support is wrong as well.

What did you get correct?
Nothing after the first sentence is correct.
If you would research facts instead of listening to the ignorant
detractors which are to lazy to research a little, you may have
resolved your issue.

Hopefully your information you give about Linux is better than what
you know about Windows.
Otherwise you will be dissatisfied there as well.
