Default HELP TO REMOVE POP-UPS

When I start windows it gets to the Windows blue welcome and I hear halt notification.
When the screen finishes loading besides the the desktop and icons ar a rectangular DOS blank black screen. On top frame it say C:\Documents and Settings\System32\svchost.exe

There is a second pop up and on the top frame it says
C:\Documents and Settings\Test\Local Settings\Application Data\GeniusBox\client.exe

There is a red X and it reports Windows cannot find
'C:\Documents and Settings\Test\Local Settings\Application Data\GeniusBox\client.exe'
Make sure you have typed the name correctly, blah blah
Clicking removes these. Sometimes they pop back for no apparent reason.

There is no program named GeniusBox
I ran s cleaner today and it found two instances of GeniusBox in the registry and cleaned them out.

how can I get rid of the pop-ups?
Thanks
