Default SP2 - is the download stoppable

I don't want the SP2 update download, want the CD version.
My update has been downloading for several days now - on
and off. What can I do?

Cancel the download.. go to control panel, add remove

programs, see if it shows
the sp2 update.. remove it.. it may prompt you if you

have already started the
updated process if you want to remove/undo it.. then it

will restore everything
back to sp1..

Hi

You could clean out the Windows Update folder and see if it helps.

You can use the procedure described he
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...cleid=11&ln=en

Note that a side effect of deleting the DataStore folder is that
you lose your WU v5 History listing (not critical).
