Sorry. Have you confirmed that the guest is configured correctly with the
Serial Cable?

I am trying to establish a direct cable connection
between a notebook running Windows XP and a desktop
running Windows 98. I am using a Parallel connection. I
can get the two computers to connect, but I cant access
any of the files, nor can I find the host (desktop) in
the network neighborhood. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. I am trying to move files from the old
desktop to the new notebook.
Thank you
