Default Video settings in windows media player

I'm having the same problem playing DVDs. I'm using the
latest Windows Media Player 9 with DFX Audio Enhancements
& TweakMP plugins, under Windows XP Pro with all the
latest updates installed. I have a Hightec Excalibur
Raedon 9000 128MB video card.

Does anyone know if this is a media player 9 bug or
something at the user end?

Thanks for your help
