VCR connection with s-video cable
I am using Snapstream.com,
I have a Haupauge capture card, I Send my video out from my DVD player to my AUX video in on my Haupauge. Then I go to Snapstream application and select record Now. Then I pick AUX as my input instead of a Cable TV channel THen I set the duration to the length of the movie. Give it an output filename. Select the quality level (I used the highest Near DVD was 5Meg/minute, that should give you space to fit on a CD if you like) Then press submit, then press play on your VCR or DVD. Snap stream will make a temporary AVI copy then compress it to wmv format later. Wolla you have a captured movie in lite weight format. Snap stream will even recompress it for your Palm Pilot if you ask it too or burn it to your CDR too. Great for home movies or turning your movie collection into another format. Its a whole lot easier than ripping and converting. -Kris -----Original Message----- How do I connect my VCR to my computer with an s-video cable and burn the video onto a DVD using my internal DVD burner? . |
