Display Prop. don't hold
Thank you for taking time to review this question. I am dealing with a new
Dell Celeron machine running XP Home ... out of box for a week, max. Display settings can be changed (to 800x600 in this case), but no question comes up asking if I wanna keep these settings (with the countdown clock). I change the settings, but when I reboot, they are back on default. This just HAS to be a simple setting, but darned if I know where it is. No new hardware has been added internally. Only printer, mouse, and Yahoo keyboard, externally. I went to MSCONFIG and on the General tab and I have, pre-selected, Original Boot.ini, and cannot choose the Modified Boot.ini. Don't know if this is a symptom or not, but I thought I'd mention it. Again, my thanks. Don in Tucson AizA |
