It appears to "work automatically" except when it doesn't work :-) It almost looks like someone is using the Hayes AT command set to talk to it, and attempt to change frequencies. http://support.huawei.com/ecommunity/bbs/10220563.html If you post the *model number* of the product, that removed many many doubts from the question. http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76388 "Huawei E3276 works only in NDIS mode, but for RouterOS to be able to use a 3G/4G modem as ppp interface it has to work in RAS (dialup) mode. I returned the E3276 and obtained E3131, and voila - instant internet connection (not at 4G speeds, but for me this is not important)." Model numbers are very useful information to have. Paul |

The mbn sub-commands usually work direct from a cmd.exe session, but if spawned within some other process, there's some weird 32bit vs 64bit shenanigans that goes on with the WWANCFG.DLL |
