Are you "tethering" the device ?

Is it a smartphone, hotspot, cradlepoint, or what ?

Writing such question to Windows 7 forum, expect is clear I am talking about PC.

Have USB LTE modem in my PC and want to be able connect it to internet by cmdline command.

It appears to "work automatically" except when it doesn't work :-)

It almost looks like someone is using the Hayes AT command set to talk
to it, and attempt to change frequencies.

If you post the *model number* of the product, that
removed many many doubts from the question.

"Huawei E3276 works only in NDIS mode, but for RouterOS to be
able to use a 3G/4G modem as ppp interface it has to work in
RAS (dialup) mode. I returned the E3276 and obtained E3131,
and voila - instant internet connection (not at 4G speeds,
but for me this is not important)."

Model numbers are very useful information to have.

netsh mbn show interfaces

netsh mbn show profiles

*******

http://colorconsole.de/cmd/en/Window...bn/connect.htm

netsh.exe mbn connect interface="Mobile Broadband Connection" connmode=tmp name=d:\profile.xml

netsh.exe mbn connect interface="Mobile Broadband Connection" connmode=name name=MyProfileName

Example from another post.

netsh mbn connect interface="Mobile Breitbandverbindung" connmode=name name=\"A1 2\"

*******

http://colorconsole.de/cmd/en/Window...disconnect.htm

netsh.exe mbn disconnect interface="Mobile Broadband Connection"

*******

There are some problems with scripting these. They
will probably work from Command Prompt.

*******

The E3372 seems to be pretty flexible. This thread shows there
is some room for performance variation, due to the selection
of interface mode.

Tell me about it! The mbn sub-commands usually work direct from a
cmd.exe session, but if spawned within some other process, there's some
weird 32bit vs 64bit shenanigans that goes on with the WWANCFG.DLL
