A saved search (*.FND) - fails to remember the folder :-(

Apd, This is my drop-down list from "Look in:" I've only got drives (hardisk & DVD) under "my computer" there. Something must have changed on your system to prevent the documents folders from being listed there. Probably a registry tweak. Bottom line, if I want to create a repeatable search I might be better of with letting AutoIt fill in everything (and it can even start the search -) ) ... Sound like a plan. In case it's of use, these registry entries are written when a search is done: Advanced options: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\SearchSystemDirs HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\SearchHidden HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\IncludeSubFolders HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\CaseSensitive HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\SearchSlowFiles (SearchSlowFiles corresponds to "Search tape backup") File mask: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5603\000 (to 024) Search string: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5604\000 (to 024) |
