paragraph spacing error

Default paragraph spacing error

All of a sudden when I hit the ENTER key in a NEW Word document, it spaces
far below on the page. When I hit backspace it returns to the end of the last
typed line. I am able to change paragraph spacing normally in a SAVED Word
document.

It is not just the keyboard, since my Dragon Naturally Speaking voice typing
program does the same thing when I command "new paragraph". However, if I use
the Dragon note pad (not Word) it works fine. Device manager says my
keyboartd is working fine. I have fixed and reinstalled Word, used system
restore and checked

You need to find a newsgroup dealing with Word and DNS.

This ain't the place, and I'm not willing to do the search to find the
proper place.
