Default Silverlight

Short note to say thanks for other info, now I need to know just what
Silverlight is. I was at Microsoft site for some on-line classes and it said
needed to download Silverlight to use. They did have info at that site but
was like reading gobbly-gook to me anyway, Thanks to you all much wiser
user's than I.

Silverlight competes with products such as Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex,
Adobe Shockwave, JavaFX, the Curl language and the JavaScript
programming language.

Silverlight is a platform form web applications to run on. its just like
java, shockwave and flash.
