Default Switching Users Problem

After XP Pro starts up and I select a user, the system tries to access c:\windows\system32 folder which is not available. Once I close the folder, the user profiles completes the setup. Could there be some program trying to access this folder that has not
been detected from Ad Aware detection? Could it be setting in the register that needs to be removed?

Click Start, Run and enter MSCONFIG Go to the Startup tab and look for =
any item that is trying to load from the C:\Windows\System32 folder, =
explicitly. If found, uncheck it. Did you happen to have a virus =
recently, that has been removed?
