I need to write zeros to me hard drive and start over, I tried to just reinstall it over again but it's running EVEN slower now. in heed of a pro........

i"m useing the o.s. that came with the system but its even slower then it was before,I;m thought i would reinstall the o.s. because i couldn;t get win updates for like three months.but now its going SLOWER and FREEZING up MORE now what should i do?????????
