Default Sony DVD-rom DDU 1621 problem

Hi,

I got a new DVD drive for my pc, I did installed it successfully: BIOS detection Ok, windows detection Ok... if I open “My PC” I can see the drive... if I go to “Hardware Manager” everything is Ok (Brand and model are right, “Hardware is working
properly”, etc.) ....

BUT, I am unable to read ANY cd. After insert a cd or dvd and double click over the drive I always got the message “Please insert a disk in drive E”

Does anybody knows what is the problem?
please help.

Note: I also have a DVD-RW installed on the same computer... this one works properly.
