I have a new dell,
my old pc had Xp and i used MSN 6.1 it worked great. The new pc with XP useing MSN messanger 6.1 will work but no audio. I can hear find and transfer files but when i talke other people cannot hear me. the IM program looks like it is working fine i can see the mic bar go up and down, i can hear meself in my speekers, but they cannot hear me. AOL works with audio but i don't like aol. and an other program call SKYPE works real good. i would like to use MSN insted. also windows Messenger dos the same thing. the tuning wizzard works good i had no firewall no router no anit virus basicly it was XP with MSN messenger right out of the box. nothing on the system it should work i ran updates reinstall messenger 6.1 i use cable modem Dinamic IP. It worked before. sound drivers are installd properly. what getts me is that aol & SKYPE work but the MSN messenger dos not. i was hoping that a Microsoft rep would read this and contact me @ |

Greetings,
You and your contact might try turning off the QoS Packet Scheduler. To do so, click Start, then click the Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and Internet connections then click Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties.
