Default HP882C Driver for XP

Please help prevent me from pulling my hair out over
this. I'm getting older and anything I can to to prolong
the existance of what I have would be much appreciated.

Ok...I need a driver for the HP882C printer. I
know..there's one with the computer, but it's not
allowing me to print double sided copies like my Win98
machine could do. I called HP and they said they didn't
make any drivers for my printer...anymore...so I'm
turning MS Windows XP users who might have experienced
this before. I do have the home edition so I'm thinkin'
that might be part of the problem...as far as the
particular driver I have does not give me all the printer
options.

Thanks so much for your time...if you can help me out
with a driver that will "unlock" the extra features of my
882C printer I would very much appreciate it...and so
would my hair.

Most sincerely;
Les

Microsoft does not make drivers for hardware. If the manufacturer
of your printer does not offer a driver, then you are stuck with XP's
generic driver. This driver only provides limited functionality and =
does
not enable you to use 2-sided printing. Perhaps it's time to consider
purchasing a XP-compatible printer.
