SP2 and Recovery Console
Hi
If you have upgraded to SP2 and you are using a CD from a previous version of XP, you will see that error message. To install the Recovery Console in SP2, you will need to create a slipstreamed SP2 CD. You can download the SP2 file (266 MBs) from he http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en - or if you have a copy of the SP2 CD, you can copy the xpsp2.exe file from that CD onto your hard disk/partition and use that: then follow the directions in the following article to create a slipstreamed XP CD: http://www.msfn.org/articles.php?act...showarticle=49 -- Will Denny MS-MVP - Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "Brian" wrote in message ...
