NTLDR - default to DOS and other questions
Hello all,
I've just configured an USB drive, using NTLDR, to show a multiboot selection. Booting into DOS 7.x works. But although I've now seen quite a number of example "boot.ini" files and websites about configuring it I've stil got a few questions/problems though: 1) How do I set the default to DOS (instead of Windows) ? 2) How do I use the ARC naming convention to point to a DOS version ? Is that at all possible (I've already tried, but failed). Explanation of the above question: I intend to add a few other (D)OS versions, and would like to put them all in their own sub-partitions (most likely in an extended partition) (that way each OS will have its own set of boot files). As I've got no idea with which letter those sub-partitions will be referred to during the NTLDR boot process, using the ARC method looks to be the best solution. *If* it can be made to work for DOS that is ....
