Right click on your Start button, select Properties, Takbar and check
that Autohide Task Bar has not been checked. Other you double click
where the Taskbar should be does it appear?

Hope this helps.

Another one posting through the ****ed up dimenoc server from Egghead.

How can I recover the lost tool bar for Windows XP?

Tool bar? Might that be the Windows taskbar? Or some program's toolbar
that it displays on the desktop? Or a toolbar in some application? Please
be more vague since details just get in the way of blasting out lots of
unfocused replies.

--- Posting Hints ---

ALWAYS REVIEW your message before submitting it. You want someone OTHER
than yourself to understand your post. Also remember that no one here is
looking over your shoulder to see at what you are pointing. If you don't
well explain your situation by providing the details that you already know,
don't expect others to know what is your situation. Explain YOUR computing
environment and just what actions you take to reproduce the problem.

Often you get just one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go on
(no details, no versions, no OS, no context) then they will usually move on
to the next post and never return to yours.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroups

Despite the appearance of a forum, you are still participating in a

So in that hodgepodge mess of quoted posts showing no hierarchy (another
****up of Egghead's gateway from their forum to Usenet), Gerry's advice
didn't work for you? You quoted that post but didn't say it wouldn't work
for you assuming you even tried it.

What a ****ing mess of signatures mixed in with posts. Not a clue how to
post in Usenet. Egghead's webnews-for-DUMMIES gateway from their forum to
Usenet (newsgroups) so they can lie to their users about having a larger
community is really ****ed up. Posts gatewayed from Egghead are worse than
posts from Google Groups' webnews-for-dummies interface.
