Default "no vga devices exist" when updating video driver

running min xp sp2, cannot change refresh rate on dell
ultrascan p991 monitor. current refresh rate 65hz, under
control panel-display settings-settings advanced it shows
default moinitor but before sp2 it showed dell p991. any
suggestions

Default "no vga devices exist" when updating video driver

re-install the ICM file for the monitor
under device manager/monitor/drivers...new driver.........point it to the ICM
file .
