Lexmark X85 3 in one having problem comunicating with printer
Ever day when I want to print something I get a error message saying
"Problems communicating with printer" I have to shut the printer off, and turn off my computer to get it to work again. I have windows xp and share the printer on this computer only. I have set the computer not to heibernate or to shut off. help

Are the USB ports also set to not hibernate?

I dont know how to check that. I did go to the device manager and the usb
root hub power management has no buttons selected. First thing I would do is uninstall and reinstall the printer....
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article%20One.htm Lexmark also has a special uninstall utility on their website. Then reinstall, making sure you have the latest drivers.
