Replacing mpg2splt.ax

I tried to copy an older version of mpg2splt.ax to
windows\system32\dllcache and then to windows\system32,
but was unable to do so; this file is a windows protected
file, and winXP always tries to overlay what I have with
its newer version, but this newer version does not work
with the software that I have.

If anyone knows how to replace a protected file, I would
greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
