Total Jerks
Some of you guys act like total jerks. Like with the test post. Is it that
big of a deal that someone does a test post to see if their software is working Did it somehow offend you? I think most of you are taking this way to personally. |

Total Jerks
thehman,
Some people do take the internet a bit too seriously. However, these newsgroups are for looking for help. Even though people may be acting like jerks, you are just as much at fault for making this post in a newsgroup about someone else taking stuff to seriously. Sorry to say, but not everyone is going to be helpful in every way possible, because some people don't have the common courtesy to put their ignorance aside. -- Colton, PHP/VB6/HTML/CSS/Javscript/IIS/Apache OS: Vista Home Premium x86 SP1 - http://explosion.debug-inc.com - "thehman" wrote in message ... There are those who cling to Usenet as the last bastion of unspoiled Internet and their responses to those who don't know Netiquette often respond negatively to test posts. This is mostly the case because the need for a Usenet client has been replace by web interfaces so newcomers have no idea what's what or what's ok. Yes, alt.test is the place to test posts. I haven't checked the statistics lately but the vast majority of Internet uses have no idea what Usenet is, much less it's varied and sundry etiquettes. - Thee Chicago Wolf |
