internet freeze

i recently put XP on my computer and with joy it worked
ind and much faster than my old OS (98 SE), untill i
started playing online games where i found that my
internet just froze and i had to end task it, or in most
cases restart my computer. im with AOL and i wanted to
know if there was any resons for this happening e.g.
conliflics with AOL. And if there is anyway i can fix
without haveing to go back to my old OS. could you, i you
have time, e-mail with any help and i will be very
thankfull )
