Logging On
-----Original Message----- I have three users on my computer (running XP Pro): to limited and the original administrator account. When I turn on the computer, I do not get the welcome screen to select which user to log on. Instead, the original administrator user account is automatically logged on. I only want to use this account when it is absolutely necessary. I have checked the MS Windows XP Support Centre and can only find information on this problem stemming from the installation of a program called "PC Anywhere" which I have not used. How do I make the welcome screen show up first when I boot up? . Go to Control Panel - User Accounts and select 'change the way users log on or off' de-select the 'use the Welcome Screen' and that will give you the classic windows logon screen. Hope this helps. |
