Default windows cannot open file..you may not have permissions..

sounds like a firewall setting? do you have one on?

have recently down loaded all microsoft updates plus AVG
free virus tool.......am now getting the above message
every time i try to open a .exe file.......the only fix
is to right click the desktop icon and "run as" and click
off the "protect my computer and data from unauthorised
program activity" key.

Any ideas!!
