Default DDR vs SDRAM

So they say. Currently I have my PC clocked at a rating
of 2900 on a Athlon XP 2000+ chip. When I had the DDR
added to my system, I failed to notice a difference. I
did however notice a nice price jump.

Speed.

DDR is double data rate sync. dram.
SDRAM is sync. dram

Basically DDR is 2x the speed of normal SDRAM.
