I also use the essentialpim. The portable version. I downloaded EssentialCalendar and it is indeed great. Did not try EssentialPIM, wonder if it will conflict if I install it to see what the difference is between the two. Jeff (OP) |

I installed EssentialPIM on my computer, but don't use it mainly because it also installed itself as my default e-mail application, which I don't want it to be, and I'm not sure how to undo that. I just installed it and kept Essential Calendar. TB remains my default email app. Jeff |

Your preferred e-mail client should have an option somewhere to make it the default e-mail client. -- Crash "The fewer the facts, the stronger the opinion." ~ Arnold H. Glasow ~ |

If you don't want to keep it, uninstall it. To make sure it's completely gone use Revo Uninstaller*(free). What was your former default e-mail client? Start it, somewhere in the preferences/options menus you should find a "make this the default" check box. Wolf K. |

Just a guess, but try typing 'default programs' into the box after clicking on the Start Orb. On the applet that opens, click the last link, "Set program access and computer defaults." You should be able to specify your default email app there, along with other defaults. -- Char Jackson |
