Yes I found out the same thing at work this afternoon, though there the file
is deleted when word is stopped and the funny thing is that Word is not in my Windows startup at home, though it's installed on my System. I guess some component that is invoked at startup must be causing this.. weird.. The file is being created even though Word is not run, must be some office component. I used the tool you recommended and found out it's nvidia's nview software
that is causing the problem, so there isn't much I can do about it, so I'll guess I'll make a little script that cleans up the tmp file(s) at startup. Thanks for the tip though.
