Negative, sir. If you have morals, and live by them, it's theft. The

You will find it very similar, but not exactly the same. How long it
will take to get accustomed to it depends on you.

And by the way, as far as I'm concerned Start 8 (not free, but very
inexpensive--only $4.99) will make the Windows 8 interface even more
like the older interfaces, and that's what I recommend.

After using Classic Shell, I will agree that Start 8 is much
better.....especially for free if you can find it

I didn't find it for free. You're replying to the wrong person. I paid
$4.99 for it.

And if you can find a web site that has it for free, it's a pirate
site. And as far as I'm concerned, it's extremely foolhardy to
download anything from such a site.

Classic Shell has its own uninstaller. There's no need to use anything
else. Why would you even consider using a third-party uninstaller
without trying that first?

But if you want a "clean" Win8 so you can test Start8, just use
Revo or similar to uninstall Classic Shell.

Why not just ininstall Classic Shell from Windows Control Panel? Why
bother with a third-party uninstaller?

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a big part of what is wrong with our
society today - "it's OK for me to steal since those folks did bad
things too! See, I'm entitled!"

Doesn't matter if the law provides you an exemption. Doesn't matter if
someone else is doing wrong. Doesn't matter if you can justify it to
yourself. It is still wrong.

And you're still on your high moral horse as if you were a bloody saint.
How does it feel to be morally perfect?

So, you admit that it's not right to take the man's software without

You're avoiding the issue. You seem to support people taking software

The law says I can use it without paying for it as long as I don't make
money off of it.

Do you know the difference between take and use? I *can't* take the
software. I can only use a *copy*.

Do you also support people taking things
from you that don't belong to them?

I don't let that happen. What I do can't be posted on Pirate Bay and
isn't a product but a service. BTW, to quote the Bible, "He who has not
sinned, throw the first stone".

I agree with Ron and G.Morgan, Start8 I think is the best, worth the
$4.99 , I've tried all the others, the are slow, clunky and Start8 is
closest to the Win7 start button IMO

Becuase removing programs in control panel almost always leaves a bun ch

I use either Revo Pro (for the 30day free trial) or 'Geek' or 'IOBit
Uninstaller, "That's the power of Pine Sol Baby.."
