Default BSOD ERROR = PNF List is Corrupt

Hello all periodically getting BSOD ERROR = PNF List is Corrupt?
Were & what actions are recommended to try resolving this issue?
Running
AMD 2400 Barton OC 1.97GH(XP 2600+), 2GB DDR400
K7 board with on board Video Xabre 200
WinXP pro, sp2.

In Device manager under hidden
Yellow? = IPv6 Windows Firewall Driver
Yellow? = NT Port Library Driver
I can not find any other problems & have not updated to any new devices or
software recently. Any insight would be greatly appreciated with this issue.

A possible culprit is the video driver. This is the most frequently cited
resolution on the web. I suggest that you download and reinstall the latest
driver.

If you are overclocking you should stop overclocking until this is resolved.

Other than PNF meaning "Page not found" which doesn't seem to apply,
just what does "PNF" mean to you, or is that what the error actually
says (which is doubtful as there is probably lots more that you
haven't bothered to copy or reproduce verbatim for the error message)?

Have you check the Event Viewer yet for warning or error messages?

Under WHICH category (or type) are those devices you listed? They
certainly don't sound like categories but rather are specific devices
under some category. Any info provided regarding their driver details
as to who wrote them and for what function they are used?

Under the properties for the network connectoid that you use, did you
actually install the "Microsoft TCP/IP version 6" protocol?

Default BSOD ERROR = PNF List is Corrupt

Background information on Stop Error message
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms793247.aspx

0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
This indicates that the memory management Page File Number list is
corrupted. Can be caused by corrupt physical RAM, or by drivers passing
bad memory descriptor lists.
Source: http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm

Please post a copy of the Stop Error message.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

An alternative is to keep pressing the F8 key during Start-Up and select
option - Disable automatic restart on system failure.

If you are using a wireless keyboard and the F8 key does not work
substitute a wired keyboard and mouse for this exercise only.

Hope this helps.

This can be due to several things like bad hardware or debunk drivers.

Myself, I last experienced this due to bad driver for Intel 2200BG Wifi
card.
