Default Hate new MSN home page!

Is there any way to go back to the old MSN home page? I noticed it got
changed on friday by MSN. I don't like the new page. I can't find a way to go
back to the "classic" style I'm used to.
I didn't know where to post this so here it is.

Don't know, but I doubt it. Why not use MyMSN? More customizable options.
Just a thought. I've been using it for years.

From MSN Discussion newsgroup:

Try the following below. If it works and it should then close out msn and
then put
back the old link

The "My.MSN.COM" had not been working for weeks.

I had a problem last October, I think? but it's been working fine. In my
case, removing Windows PowerShell fixed it. Others were using Hosts.MVP
that was causing it. Still others have not found either of these to be the
cause.

I have been using the Host MVP file, but found that going back to the original Host file did not fix
it.
However, I just put "my.msn.com" in the "trusted sites" and it came back, but with a lot of changes
from the original layout.
I have about given up on the MSN sites as they change format without your permission, deleting
features I have worked hard to include.

I hate the new page because I also have customized my page and I cannot do it
on this "new" page. No notice they were changing or a option to use the old
page! I don't like the look of MY.MSN page also.

Gotta get used to MS changing thing to how they like it, not the user.

Some other options.

I'm not seeing a difference. Are we talking about the same page at
http://www.msn.com/ ?

I am having trouble accessing http://my.msn.com/ from the link on
http://www.msn.com/ if I'm using my Firefox browser, but
http://my.msn.com/ seems to be working properly in Internet Explorer 8.
I had to recustomize "my" pages on that sub-domain a few months ago when
some coding was apparently changed there (everything was back to
defaults). I think I was also having trouble using an earlier version of
Firefox then, the coding might have been changed to something that's IE
dependent.

I haven't used http://home.live.com/ enough to be able to tell if it has
changed recently. I'll admit to being unimpressed with the layout of
that page.

The changes you see are probably the same as what I see randomly. Check the
upper right corner and if it says sign in then click it. Then, at least for
me, it puts me back in my.msn.
