Default Cmd, for user input

I just learned to create batch files that will do some
processes that I create automatically. Is there any way I
can give these things intelligence. I have read
that "CHOICE" used to be the way I could get user input
into a batch file. Does XP have this capability for CMD?
If so can I also put that entry into a variable?

Thanks, Rich

It doesn't come with XP. It works though. You can get a copy from the =
Dos 6.22 supplemental disk - =
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/softlib/MSLFILES/dos622.exe

In XP one would use the set command. Set /p answer=3DEnter choice

Type set /? for more.
