Hi,

I am trying to delete a folder within the registry, the folder I believe is
the one that is causing my search preferences problem. I have deleted all
the values that the program placed in the registry, but the one folder won't
delete, I get an error message telling me that it cannot open the file and
therefore it will not delete. Any work-around for this?

My original problem is that somehow, probably through surfing the Web, a
search engine called "Search Results" installed itself, I have used several
suggestions from groups as to being able to get my preferences back in order
to choose another engine, but it will not let me.

Thank you,

Tom

Hi Mary,

Actually no. It is "Search Results" I finally located it as a url under
the address of ah-ha.com and was able to delete it.

The result however is that it also did something to my search preferences
so that I can longer select a particular engine.............still working on
that fix.

Thank you for the suggestion however, it is appreciated.

Tom
