Default 'system' using 99% CPU time

Try the running processes tab,if one is listed try end-
ing the process. You might also open Help/Support in the
start menu, type:MsConfig Knowlege(third set of answers)
should have selections on start up configurations on
ending,or editing start up problems, and the 99% should
be related to that.

When I booted up today, my system seemed VERY slow. I
checked my task manager and found the 'system' process
taking 99% CPU time. Any ideas?
