Default Windows Messenger Popups

This is not a messenger problem at all
You might have so many friends who want to chat to you on
messenger, and adding you in list. whenever they add you
on list, you'll get an alert to authenticate(messenger
respects user's privacy always).

If you're getting these alerts while surfing the web,
those are tottaly mock dialogs and of some spyware you
probably installed.

I am totally annoyed with Microsoft! I tried to find
online support, but they make you choose whether the
product came with the computer or was sold separately.
Then, when you say it came with the computer, they try to
pass your problem off to your maufacturer. It's not a
Compaq problem, it's a Microsoft problem! Grrr!!!

Finally, I'm directed to a newsgroup for help. Once here,
I find several others have encountered my problem, but
there is no solution posted. Do I have to request a
personal reply to get an answer (from someone NOT
connected with Microsoft - the cowards!)?

If that's the case, here goes: PLEASE someone help me
understand why I keep getting popup messages in Windows
Messenger about so-and-so wanting to add me to his or her
contact list? AND how can I stop it from continuing? This
is every bit as annoying as the SpyWare/AdWare problem
where "popunders" infect your C: drive with
advertisements and home pages you NEVER requested!

If anyone can help me get to the bottom of this extremely
irritating occurrence, I will be eternally grateful!

Sam
