Can't shut down and programs all messed up
All right, I finally installed SP2 because I kept getting annoying reminders.
I remember now why I held out so long. First, I can't shut down my computer. If I go to start and shut down, the computer hangs. I end up having to do a hard shut down (i.e., the power button). I looked through the knowledge base about power management, but that didn't get me anywhere. Also, the other program that seems to have a lot of trouble is iTunes. For some reason when I click a short cut to open the program it takes well over two minutes to open. After that it works fine, but it somehow doesn't seem to boot up right. All of this started when I installed SP2, so I know it is related. Any ideas? Thanks, JMR |
