Default NetModem services

I have installed shared modem services on my Windows 2000
Server. On my existing Windows 2000 client, I am able to
connect to the shared modem with the command NETMODEM USE
* \\SERVER00\Pool Name. This works very well.

However, when I try this on my new XP Professional
station I get the error: "NetModem use is not supported
on a Shared Modem Service Server". It looks like WinXP
automatically sets itself as a Modem server. Can any one
tell me how I disable this? or if there is another
answer? I can't find any reference to this problem on
the KB. Thank you.
