Default MouseDown forever

I did something to cause this probably but what.

As if left mouse button is locked down.

left click again and it releases.

left click again and it stays down.

How do I quit this other than boot which is what I did).

after boot all is "normal".

Control Panels : Mouse Properties : Click Lock ???

Hmm, sounds like a drag-lock feature in the mouse driver. Go into the
Mouse control panel applet, Buttons tab, and check the setting for "Turn
on ClickLock".
