HI,

i'm not sure if this will help but did you click on the
run or save button when you went to install the update?
The first time i went to install i hit the run button
like it says to and i had a similar problem, i then tried
the save button and after it downloaded there clicked to
open button and it installed ok, however i now have a
problem logging into the service. A few of us get a
message saying that our user name does not exist or that
our password is incorrect even though they are not. So
may i suggest only downloading MSN Messanger if it will
work on your computer.
Hope your problem gets solved soon.
