New site design for Microsoft Community
Wiki Articles – will be streamlined into the site experience and easier
to find. Renamed Forum Articles, this popular thread type will automatically return in browse and search results. Forum Article authors with the most recommended articles will receive the Publisher award, previously named Wiki Master. A key change in this area is the way users can provide suggested changes to articles. The Suggest Changes button will be removed, and changes can be suggested by posting a Comment directly to the article. With this change, it is necessary to retire the Wiki Contributor badge. New design for Private Messages – will make it easier for customers to find and respond to private messages. Private messaging remains limited to conversations between Microsoft and community members. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/feedback/forum/fdbk_commsite-fdbk_getstart/new-site-design-for-microsoft-community/a9cebb2b-a4c3-4731-a0bc-9d08d9162874#LastReply -- David B. |

Then, later, I met you he https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...le-tab-profile Our mutual 'friend' - '...winston' - then arranged that posts which you and I had made on the 'Microsoft Answers' forums were surrepticiously removed. Do you remember that? WHY would he have done that? Any idea? Have no idea. Why it was removed. When first started with answers I was just a common user. Now I'm a Community Moderator in the Mac office section. I mostly deal with Word and Excel Mac. Although I answer Mac OS issues that can have an affect/effect on Office Mac. Hello again, Phillip. Thanks again for responding. :-) I expect you've read he- https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...1-be014e8a8810 I STILL do not understand WHY '...winston' needs 11 Microsoft Accounts. Perhaps because he's an MVP; is that it?!! Can YOU explain - or maybe ask on the Microsoft Answers forums. Alternatively , perhaps, ask him on the 'new' User2User newsgroup which is running on the 'news.dogagent.com' server? As far as I can tell, just ONE account provides a 'key' to all sections of the Microsoft empire. That's what it says here anyway:- http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/account/ One last thing. Can you find out why this item has been deleted? https://social.technet.microsoft.com...1-0dbc72bfde30 If you can read my comments under this YouTube video they may prove helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ0sou3GHBQ I kept a screenshot of part of my conversation with 'Rob'. You may read same here if you wish:- https://www.dropbox.com/s/wjn1qy8d9o...9%202.jpg?dl=0 I'll be most interested in any comments you may like to make. You are one of the few people I've met on-line who I completely trust, Phillip! Have a grand day! :-) -- David B. -- Sometimes man stumbles over the truth. (W.Churchill) |
