Slow update scan - resolved
I was attempting to update a W7x64 machine which had not been updated in a while. The update scan was
painfully slow. Long story short, I was able to resolve the slow scan problem by separately downloading and installing each of the four updates, in turn and rebooting after the installation of each. After doing this, the update scan improved dramatically, from hours to under two minutes. KB3138612 KB3145739 KB3020369 KB3172605 Hope this helps someone.
