wireless ntelos usb 3G card to pc to wireless printer.
I have a broadcom wireless utility manager program and a usb style dialup
internet usb hookup. I have a printer that is wireless to a router, but I don't use a router. How do I print wirelessly? I have set the printer to ad hoc and followed the windows XP directions for my laptop, but when I right click the 3G connection in "network connections" the connection properties does not have the same options. It has general, options, security, networking, and advanced... Unlike the tutorial which has general, wireless networks, advanced. I am assuming the broadcom wireless utility is where i need to start. If that is so then I have done a network bridge. Hope you can help me, Chad |

It sounds like you are trying to use a 3G cellphone/data interface on your
laptop. This is not the same wireless system used for networking by a wireless router or network wireless interface. Many of the current laptops(Netbooks in particuliar) are available with a 3G cellphone/data interface. They may or may not also have a wireless network interface module.
