Default backup copy

I want to make a copy of a Word document on a diskette.
Is there a simple way to do that? (other than the 15-
steps in MS?)

Sure. Right click on the document in My Documents or Windows Explorer,
click on "send to" and send it to the floppy on drive a.

Yes, open the document, go to File, click "Save As," navigate to the drive
that contains the disk and save it. NOTE: if you are trying to save
directly to a CD-burner, this function is not supported natively by XP and
requires the installation of third party packet writing software such as the
Drag to Disk component of Easy CD Creator, www.roxio.com or the InCD
component of Nero, www.nero.com. Please see websites for versions
compatible with XP and for drive compatibility.
