where is it?? i have a sidewinder force-feedback wheel and pedals I'm trying

Do you have a motherboard with the Via chipset on? If so, you will need a
patch for the software to work. Google for it. problem solved i grabbed this off a forum
uninstall the SideWinder software version 4.0 and then you just go to Control Panel Game Controllers Add Microsoft SideWinder (Auto Detect) OK. Then check in Properties that the wheel's working ok. Using the built-in drivers, the pedals will be set to split-axis (each pedal is it's own independant axis) and you can't change it (so if the game doesn't like split-axis...). The default with the SideWinder software 3.0 is combined/single axis.
